'We Hold the Rock' New Book idea...

So i think its about time I started a new project/book. I have chosen to Illustrate the American Indian Occupation of Alcatraz Island which started in November 1969 and lasted 19 months. I am very much still in the research phase but I am going to try to continue showing my progress on this blog. I think is a very intersting topic and represents the Birth of the Native American Civil Right movement, not something usually considered when thinking of Alcatraz Island and its prison.
